Students Protest at Allu Arjun’s Residence; BJP Leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy Shares Video
Hyderabad witnessed an unusual protest today( Sunday) as student union members surrounded the residence of Telugu film actor Allu Arjun. The incident, which saw members of the Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee scaling the compound wall and pelting stones, was widely shared on social media. BJP Andhra Pradesh Vice President Vishnuvardhan Reddy posted a video of the protest, drawing attention to the event.
The students, holding placards and shouting slogans, demanded justice for a boy named Sritej and attempted to stage a sit-in at the actor’s residence gate. In response to the developments, Vishnuvardhan Reddy expressed his criticism of the Telangana state government, led by Congress, accusing it of targeting Allu Arjun, whom he described as one of South India’s highest taxpayers.
“These are shocking visuals from Telangana. Congress-led governance in the state is targeting Allu Arjun,” alleged Vishnuvardhan Reddy. “It is appalling to see stones being thrown and harassment directed at a national-level hero. This reflects poorly on how prominent figures are being treated,” he added in his tweet. He further stated that such actions are unacceptable and should be condemned as disgraceful.
