The Andhra Pradesh government’s ambitious “Palle Panduga” initiative is making strides in rural infrastructure development, particularly in constructing CC roads, tar roads, and canals in villages. As part of this initiative, the Deputy Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) shared images on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing road construction projects in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district.

In a statement, the Deputy CMO highlighted the efforts to address the challenges faced by the public due to poorly maintained roads during the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime. The new coalition government aims to resolve these issues by prioritizing rural road construction and allocating dedicated funds for Manyam villages.

One notable project includes a 2-kilometer tar road constructed from the Gudra Road to Santabayalu via Marriputtu in the Hukumpeta Mandal under the Araku Valley constituency. Officials emphasized that these improvements mark a significant transformation in accessibility for these remote areas.

Images shared online illustrated the stark difference between the condition of the road before and after the construction, underlining the government’s commitment to enhancing rural infrastructure.
