Tollywood Celebrities to Meet Telangana CM Revanth Reddy; Vijayashanti Shares Her Views

This morning at 10 AM, prominent figures from Tollywood, under the leadership of Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju, are scheduled to meet Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Speaking on the matter, Dil Raju stated, "Directors, producers, and other representatives of the industry will collectively meet the Chief Minister to discuss key issues affecting the film industry." He further confirmed that information regarding the meeting had already been shared with actors, directors, and producers in advance.

Meanwhile, Congress leader and actress Vijayashanti expressed her perspective on the meeting through a post on "X" (formerly Twitter). In her statement, she highlighted the importance of addressing critical issues during the discussion.

"The meeting between Tollywood representatives and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Thursday should focus on detailed analysis and solutions for the film industry’s challenges. Topics like benefit shows, ticket price hikes, and other subsidies need urgent attention. Additionally, there should be discussions about creating films that reflect Telangana’s history, culture, and traditions. Matters such as job security and living standards for small-scale artists and technicians, allocation of theaters for low- and medium-budget films, and other related issues also require in-depth deliberation," Vijayashanti stated in her tweet.
