Sukumar’s Surprising Revelation About His Favorite Hero
Tollywood's star director Sukumar, who gained pan-India fame with the blockbuster Pushpa series featuring Allu Arjun, recently made a surprising revelation about his favorite hero. In an interview, Sukumar shared details about his early inspirations and the actor who played a crucial role in shaping his confidence to pursue a career in cinema. Contrary to expectations, his favorite hero is not Allu Arjun or any of his frequent collaborators, but veteran actor Rajasekhar.

Sukumar disclosed that he has been an ardent admirer of Rajasekhar since his student days. "Films like Ankusam, Ahuti, Aagraham, Talambraalu, and Magadu had a significant impact on me," said Sukumar, emphasizing how deeply Rajasekhar’s performances influenced him during his formative years. He recalled frequently watching Rajasekhar's movies during his school days and even imitating the actor's style.

According to Sukumar, his imitation of Rajasekhar became so popular among his friends that they often encouraged him by asking for repeat performances. "Back then, my friends would cheer me on by saying 'once more,' and that gave me a lot of confidence," he said, adding that this experience helped him believe that he could achieve something significant in the film industry.

Sukumar also noted that he gained a following among his peers due to his ability to mimic Rajasekhar's mannerisms. "It was Rajasekhar who made me feel that I could do something in the film industry," he admitted, expressing gratitude for the inspiration he drew from the senior actor.
