KCR Visits Passport Office for Renewal Ahead of Planned U.S. Trip

Former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) visited the passport office in Secunderabad on Wednesday morning. During his visit, he submitted his diplomatic passport to the authorities and applied for the renewal of a regular passport.
According to sources, KCR’s grandson Himanshu, son of former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), is pursuing higher education in the United States. Reports suggest that KCR is planning to visit the U.S. next month to spend time with his grandson, prompting the passport renewal.
KCR traveled from his farmhouse in Erravalli to Hyderabad before heading to the passport office. After completing the renewal process, he returned to his residence in Nandinagar and later proceeded to Telangana Bhavan after a brief rest.
His visit to Telangana Bhavan marks a significant event, as it is his first appearance there in nearly seven months. BRS sources indicated that KCR would provide strategic guidance to party leaders regarding the BRS foundation day celebrations and the party’s future course of action. During a scheduled meeting with senior party leaders, discussions are expected to cover the organization of the party plenary, membership enrollment, and key decisions on structural committees.
