Rahul Gandhi’s Complaint Led to Deletion of My Facebook, Instagram Accounts: Raja Singh

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh has expressed strong displeasure over the removal of his official Facebook and Instagram accounts. He alleged that the social media accounts were deleted based on a complaint by Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and a senior All India Congress Committee (AICC) leader.

Raja Singh claimed that selective censorship was being carried out, specifically targeting Hindus. He further stated that on Thursday, Facebook and Instagram blocked the accounts of his family members, friends, party workers, and supporters, which he described as unfortunate.

The Goshamahal MLA confirmed that Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, had taken down two of his Facebook accounts and three Instagram accounts. Expressing frustration over the move, he reiterated that the deletion of his accounts was regrettable.
