Botsa Challenges Government: “Is a Musical Night More Important Than Farmers?”
Former minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLC Botsa Satyanarayana criticized the coalition government, alleging that it lacks respect for farmers and agriculture. He stated that YSRCP chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy personally visited the Mirchi Yard to understand the difficulties faced by chili farmers. According to Botsa, the state government only became aware of the farmers’ problems after Jagan’s visit.

He questioned why the government was unaware of the farmers' issues until Jagan's visit and criticized the ruling alliance for labeling his visit as an "illegal activity." "If visiting the Mirchi Yard to address farmers' concerns is illegal, then what kind of activity is attending a musical night?" he asked. Botsa also pointed out that the Election Commission had not prohibited visits to the Mirchi Yard.

Speaking on other issues, Botsa stated that if Jagan fails to appear in court regarding the Kodi Kathi case, the judiciary will take the necessary decisions. He also demanded that the government release the Special Investigation Team (SIT) report on land scams.

Commenting on Andhra Pradesh Congress chief Y. S. Sharmila, he alleged that she is driven by a personal agenda and stated that politics should not be influenced by personal motives.

Botsa further criticized Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, claiming that he has completely failed in implementing the "Super Six" promises made during the elections. He demanded that the coalition government fulfill its election promises. Additionally, he confirmed that YSRCP would not participate in the upcoming MLC elections.
