Bandi Sanjay Questions Exam Timetable Change for Ramadan

BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay has criticized the Telangana government, questioning whether the timetable for the Class 10 pre-final exams is being altered for the benefit of a specific community.
The Telangana government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has announced that the Class 10 pre-final examinations, scheduled to begin on March 6, will be held from 12:15 PM to 3:15 PM, considering the observance of Ramadan. Bandi Sanjay questioned this decision, alleging that the government was making arbitrary changes to the examination schedule for the sake of one community, potentially inconveniencing others.
He argued that the government's decision was unreasonable, stating that students, teachers, and others typically have their lunch during this time, and conducting exams at this hour would cause difficulties. He further pointed out that the government had already granted exemptions for Muslim employees after 4 PM during Ramadan. Additionally, he noted that school hours run from 9:15 AM to 4:15 PM, yet, despite this, the government had scheduled exams in an unusual time slot under the pretext of Ramadan.
Bandi Sanjay questioned whether the Congress government considers this an example of equality. He demanded the immediate withdrawal of the issued circular and urged the state government to revise the Class 10 pre-final exam timetable to ensure that students and teachers are not inconvenienced.
