Posani Sent to 14-Day Judicial Remand by Kurnool Court

Prominent actor Posani Krishna Murali has been sent to 14-day judicial remand by a Kurnool court. A case was registered against him at the Adoni Third Town Police Station in Kurnool district for allegedly making inappropriate remarks about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, and their family members.
Following this, Adoni police requested prison authorities to hand over Posani, who was already in judicial custody in Guntur district for a similar case. Upon receiving approval, the police took him into custody, conducted a medical examination, and transported him to Kurnool. Posani was then presented before the magistrate.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the court ordered Posani to be remanded until the 18th of this month. He was subsequently transferred to Kurnool district jail.
Separately, in a case filed in Narasaraopet, a court had earlier sent Posani to judicial remand until the 13th of this month. Across the state, a total of 17 cases have been registered against him.
