Nara Lokesh Slams Jagan Over Remarks on Pawan Kalyan

Minister Nara Lokesh has responded to the remarks made by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Jagan Mohan Reddy had commented that Pawan Kalyan received a larger majority as a municipal corporator than as an MLA, adding that he had become an MLA only once in his lifetime.
Criticizing Jagan Mohan Reddy's comments, Lokesh called them "degrading remarks" against the Deputy Chief Minister. He further stated, "If arrogance were given pants and a shirt, it would look like Jagan." Lokesh questioned, "How much majority did Pawan Kalyan get, and how much did Jagan get?"
Lokesh also alleged that whether in power or out of power, Jagan Mohan Reddy has always remained distant from the people. Taking a jibe at the previous administration, Lokesh remarked, "After the fall of the curtain government, the sale of curtains in the state has also decreased."
Addressing the issue of the YSRCP not being granted the status of the main opposition party, Lokesh said that it was the people who made this decision. He questioned why Jagan Mohan Reddy was unable to understand this reality. Lokesh further accused Jagan of making remarks that undermine the Chief Minister while speaking about opposition status, even though the people had not given YSRCP that recognition.
Continuing his criticism, Lokesh stated that Jagan Mohan Reddy had yet to realize that even his mother and sister did not trust him. He suggested that Jagan should introspect on why his party secured only 11 seats in the recent elections.
