Andhra Pradesh High Court Grants Anticipatory Bail to Perni Nani

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted anticipatory bail to YSR Congress Party leader and former minister Perni Nani in a case related to the alleged misappropriation of ration rice. Perni Nani is named as Accused 6 (A6) in the case, which involves the alleged illegal transportation of rice meant for public distribution from a warehouse.

His wife, Perni Jayasudha, is listed as Accused 1 (A1), while others implicated in the case include Manas Tej (A2), Kotireddy (A3), Mangarao (A4), and Balanjaneyulu (A5). Perni Jayasudha has already appeared for questioning at the Machilipatnam Police Station regarding the matter. The court had previously granted her anticipatory bail as well.

The case revolves around allegations that ration rice, intended for economically weaker sections, was diverted from a warehouse. The High Court’s decision to grant anticipatory bail to Perni Nani provides significant legal relief to him amid the ongoing investigation.
