No Roads, No Marriages in Our District: Speaker Gaddam Prasad
During the Telangana Legislative Assembly’s budget discussion, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar’s comments brought laughter to the session. The conversation centered around road construction, with a heated debate unfolding between Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and BRS leader Harish Rao.

Harish Rao stated that their government had laid roads throughout the state. Interjecting humorously, Speaker Gaddam Prasad remarked, “In our Vikarabad district, due to lack of roads, even boys are unable to get married.” This witty comment drew immediate laughter from all members present in the Assembly.

While Congress members responded by shouting "Shame, Shame," Harish Rao clarified that roads had been laid in all mandals according to the old mandal structure.
