Setback for Vallabhaneni Vamsi as Court Dismisses Bail Petition

Vallabhaneni Vamsi, YSR Congress Party leader and former Member of the Legislative Assembly, faced a setback in the CID court. The court dismissed the bail petition he filed in connection with the attack case on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Gannavaram.
Arguments from both sides concluded on Tuesday. The Crime Investigation Department (CID) opposed the bail plea, stating that if granted, Vallabhaneni Vamsi could influence witnesses. Vamsi’s legal counsel appealed to the court to consider his poor health and requested bail on humanitarian grounds.
After reserving the verdict, the judge delivered the ruling a short while ago, rejecting Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s bail petition. The court also dismissed the bail petitions filed by four other accused individuals in the same case.
