TDP High Command Mulls Action Against Tiruvuru MLA Kolikapudi

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) high command has once again expressed serious concerns regarding the conduct of Tiruvuru MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao. According to party sources, complaints have been consistently raised in recent times about Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao’s manner of functioning, with dissatisfaction growing over his alleged disregard for party directives.
In response, the TDP leadership is reportedly preparing to issue a stern warning. A three-member committee, comprising a Member of Parliament, the district party president, and party coordinators, has been formed to submit a comprehensive report on the developments in the Tiruvuru constituency over the past ten months, which Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao represents.
Despite repeated suggestions from the party leadership to maintain unity and discuss issues through party forums, Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao has reportedly not altered his stance, according to party sources. His recent public statement—that he would resign within two days if no action was taken against party leader Ramesh Reddy—has intensified the controversy.
Even after being advised not to make public remarks, Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao has allegedly continued to do so, which has deeply angered the party leadership. The TDP high command believes that his defiant tone invites criticism and undermines the party's reputation. Party sources have warned that if his conduct does not change, strict action will be inevitable.
