Pawan Kalyan Responds for the First Time on Son's Injury
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has responded for the first time regarding the injuries sustained by his son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, in a fire accident at a school in Singapore. The incident occurred during a summer camp program.

At the time the news reached him in the morning, Pawan Kalyan was touring tribal areas in the Alluri district. Speaking earlier in the day, he stated, “I came here because I gave my word. I will travel to Singapore only after completing this tour.”

Later in the evening, after concluding his visit, Pawan Kalyan reached Visakhapatnam. Speaking to the media there, he expressed his concern and sorrow over the incident.

“I initially thought it was a minor fire accident, but I didn’t expect it to be this serious,” said Pawan Kalyan. “I didn’t know the severity of the accident or the situation there at first. I assumed everything was fine… but then I came to know that he (his son) was admitted to the hospital. They said he is undergoing bronchoscopy because smoke entered his lungs.”

Pawan Kalyan also shared details of others affected in the incident. “My son’s classmate, who was sitting right next to him, reportedly sustained serious injuries. I was deeply saddened to learn that a young child died in the accident,” he stated.

Calling the fire incident that occurred during the summer camp "tragic," Pawan Kalyan expressed deep grief.
