Thanks to Prime Minister Modi and PMO for Assistance During Difficult Time: Pawan Kalyan
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for their prompt assistance after his son, Mark Shankar, was caught in a fire accident during a summer camp in Singapore. He stated that the swift response and support from Indian authorities, including the Singapore government and the Indian High Commission in Singapore, provided immense reassurance during a distressing time.

Pawan Kalyan mentioned that he received the distressing news while participating in the 'Adavi Thalli Baata' initiative in the tribal regions of Uttarandhra, where he was launching development schemes introduced by the NDA government. He noted that the timely assistance extended to his son and other children affected by the accident brought significant comfort and courage to his family.

Addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his statement, Pawan Kalyan said, “Your visionary commitment to improving the lives of particularly vulnerable tribal groups is exemplified by the ‘Adavi Thalli Baata’ programme. This is one among the many initiatives you have undertaken to address the needs of these communities. It forms a vital part of your broader efforts to transform their lives.”

He further stated that, supported by schemes such as PM Janman, PM GSY, and MGNREGS, the programme aims to construct approximately 1,069 kilometres of roads at an estimated cost of ₹1,005 crore. These roads will resolve connectivity issues in 601 tribal habitations, enhancing transportation, promoting tourism, ensuring timely medical access, and particularly addressing the long-standing issue of 'doli' (manual human carriage for patients) in these regions.

Pawan Kalyan once again conveyed his heartfelt thanks for the strength and support provided to his family during a difficult time.
