Police facing consequences for trusting Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan: Perni Nani

Perni Nani, a senior leader of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), responded strongly to the suspension of 11 police officers in Guntur, which is linked to the case involving former YSRCP Member of Parliament Gorantla Madhav. Speaking at a press conference held at the party office in Machilipatnam, Perni Nani remarked, “It is evident what fate befalls police officers when they place their trust in the father-son duo and Pawan Kalyan.”
He warned police personnel against forgetting their decorum and becoming emboldened by observing Nara Lokesh, whom he described as the author of the ‘Red Book’, and Pawan Kalyan, whom he referred to as someone with “no fixed address.” Perni Nani cautioned that such behavior would only bring trouble.
Referring to the government led by Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Perni Nani alleged that exploiting officials and then discarding them was a routine practice. He advised Sub-Inspectors and Circle Inspectors across the state to take note of this.
“Chandrababu Naidu is known for setting traps and sacrificing people,” Perni Nani alleged. He claimed that whether one is an official, relative, police officer, or party worker, Chandrababu Naidu treats them all the same. He questioned the motive behind punishing 11 police officers merely to appease party workers.
Criticizing recent incidents, he stated, “Some police officers, influenced by the ‘Red Book’, the words of Nara Lokesh, or the orders of Chandrababu Naidu, are overstepping their limits.” He accused these officers of engaging in misconduct such as filing false cases, physical assault, and verbal abuse, and advised the police force to remain vigilant.
