S. S. Rajamouli Says He’s Eagerly Waiting for Three Big Films

The global film industry often anticipates every project directed by S. S. Rajamouli. This sentiment is widely shared across audiences and film circles alike. However, in a recent interview, Rajamouli himself revealed that he is eagerly waiting for three upcoming films — a statement that has become a trending topic.
Rajamouli is currently directing a big-budget film starring Mahesh Babu. The shoot for this project is progressing at a brisk pace. A schedule in Odisha has already been completed, and an overseas schedule is currently being planned. Amidst these developments, Rajamouli shared in an interview that, like any regular moviegoer, he is also looking forward to the release of certain films.
Rajamouli stated that he is eagerly waiting for three pan-India films: Dragon, which features N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and is directed by Prashanth Neel; Spirit, starring Prabhas under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga; and Peddi, a film featuring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Rajamouli expressed his curiosity about how these films will turn out, given their pan-Indian appeal.
His remarks have since gone viral on social media, delighting the fans of the respective film stars.
Regarding the production status of these films, Dragon, the collaboration between N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Prashanth Neel, is currently in the shooting phase. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. is scheduled to join regular shooting from April 22. The film is expected to be released next year as a festive offering.
Meanwhile, pre-production work is underway for Spirit, the film starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
As for Ram Charan's Peddi, a teaser glimpse has been recently released. The film is under production and is slated for release on March 27 next year, positioned as a summer attraction.
