Actor Shine Tom Chacko Questioned by Police After Drug Raid

Prominent Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko appeared for a police inquiry today. He arrived at the Ernakulam Police Station at 10:30 AM, accompanied by his lawyer. This development follows reports that he fled the scene during a recent 'narcotics' raid at a hotel.

According to information, the police may question Shine Tom Chacko regarding both the incident and the possible consumption of narcotic substances.

The Narcotics department had conducted a raid at a hotel in Kochi based on a tip-off about drug use at the location. Reports indicated that Shine Tom Chacko escaped from the hotel just minutes before the police arrived. At that time, he was allegedly on the third floor of the hotel. He is reported to have jumped through a window to the second floor and then fled via the stairs. CCTV footage of this escape was captured and has since gone viral on social media.

Separately, actress Vinay Forrt (Vincent Aloysius) has previously accused Shine Tom Chacko of inappropriate behavior while under the influence of drugs. She filed a complaint with the Malayalam Movie Artists Association (AMMA) in this regard.
