YV Subbareddy Rebuts Vijayasai Reddy’s Allegations on YSRCP
Former Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy appeared yesterday for an inquiry related to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case. Following the interrogation, he made critical remarks to the media regarding the inner circle of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership, stating that he faced significant hardships because of this so-called "coterie."

In response, YSRCP Rajya Sabha member YV Subbareddy issued a strong rebuttal. YV Subbareddy claimed that after leaving the party, Vijayasai Reddy has been attempting to levy accusations against the YSRCP in various ways. He asserted that there is no truth in the allegations made by Vijayasai Reddy.

“Vijayasai Reddy was the one who wielded the most power during the five years YSRCP was in office. Does he not know whether there was a coterie in the party? Does he not know who was running that coterie?” YV Subbareddy questioned.

He also responded to Vijayasai Reddy’s claim that he had fallen from being the number two in the party to position two thousand, stating, “There is no such thing as a number two in YSRCP. From number one to one hundred, all positions are held by Jagan Mohan Reddy.”

YV Subbareddy refuted the occurrence of any scams during the YSRCP’s term in power and criticized the coalition government for allegedly filing false cases against the party’s leaders. He accused the current government of trying to intimidate and coerce certain individuals by using the liquor scam as a pretext. He affirmed that the YSRCP would continue to fight all such cases legally.
