Actress Sri Reddy Appears for Police Inquiry Over Objectionable Videos

Actress Sri Reddy appeared before the police at the Pusapatirega station in Vizianagaram district today for questioning. The police had earlier issued a notice summoning her for inquiry following her recent activity on social media.
According to the police, Sri Reddy had posted objectionable videos on social media targeting current Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh ahead of the upcoming elections. Responding to the notice, she presented herself at the station for questioning.
During the tenure of former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sri Reddy was known for her outspoken and controversial statements on social media. She reportedly used vulgar language without restraint, disregarding social norms and gender sensitivity.
However, after the alliance led by Nara Chandrababu Naidu secured victory in the recent elections, Sri Reddy altered her stance. She publicly requested forgiveness and vowed to refrain from making political comments in the future. In a statement, she said, “Nara Lokesh annayya, please forgive me,” addressing the minister with a term of familial respect.
Despite her apology, alliance party workers expressed strong dissatisfaction over her earlier remarks and lodged complaints with the police. Based on these complaints, the police registered a case and summoned her for investigation. In compliance with the summons, Sri Reddy attended the inquiry today.
