Minister Ponnam Announces Upcoming TSRTC Recruitment for Over 3,000 Posts

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that recruitment will soon be conducted for 3,038 vacant posts in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). He stated that the government is committed to filling the vacancies at the earliest and a formal notification will be issued very shortly.

According to Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, the breakdown of the proposed recruitment includes 2,000 driver positions and 743 posts for Shramiks (workers). Additionally, there will be 114 vacancies for the post of Deputy Superintendent (Mechanical), 84 for Deputy Superintendent (Traffic), and 25 posts for Depot Manager/Assistant Traffic Manager.

The recruitment notification will also cover 23 positions for Assistant Engineer (Civil), 15 for Assistant Mechanical Engineer, 11 for Section Officer (Civil), 7 for Medical Officer (General), 7 for Medical Officer (Specialist), and 6 for Accounts Officer.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar emphasized that the government is prioritizing public sector employment and that this recruitment drive reflects the commitment to strengthening the RTC workforce.
