The police today arrested YSRCP leader Kakuturu Rajeev Reddy from Nellore district for allegedly making objectionable comments about Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Rajeev Reddy, a resident of Patapadu village in Chejerla mandal, is accused of posting defamatory remarks against Chandrababu Naidu on social media platforms.

According to police, a case was registered following complaints from local leaders who objected to Rajeev Reddy’s personal insults directed at the Chief Minister. Authorities stated that the arrest was carried out as part of a broader effort by the coalition government to curb the spread of misinformation and abusive content on social media and YouTube channels.

Officials emphasized that strict action would be taken against individuals responsible for such behavior, regardless of their political affiliation, including members of the ruling party.
