Actress Imanvi Clarifies Identity, Reacts Strongly to Allegations of Being Pakistani
Imanvi Esmail, who stars opposite Rebel Star Prabhas in the upcoming film Fauji, has strongly denied circulating claims that she is of Pakistani origin. Addressing the rumors head-on, Imanvi asserted that there is no truth whatsoever to the reports suggesting she is the daughter of a Pakistani military officer.

“These are outright lies,” said Imanvi in a lengthy social media post. “There is absolutely no connection between my family and that country. Online trolls have deliberately spread this misinformation.”

She clarified that her parents migrated to Los Angeles, where she was born and raised. “I studied there, and after completing my education, I began my career as an actress and dancer. Cinema has had a profound influence on my life. Indian culture and values are in my blood,” she wrote.

Expressing pride in her heritage, Imanvi stated, “I proudly identify as an Indian-American. I am a woman of Indian origin who speaks Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati, and English.”

She also condemned the spread of unverified information by some reputed news outlets, stating, “It is unfortunate that even well-known news organizations published these false reports without conducting any basic fact-checking.”

In her post, Imanvi also condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

She concluded her message with a call for positivity: “Use social media for good. In this tragic time, spread love, not hate.”
