PSR Anjaneyulu Sent to CID Custody for 3 Days in Actress Harassment Case
Former Intelligence Bureau Chief PSR Anjaneyulu, who was earlier arrested by the police in connection with a harassment case involving Bollywood actress Kadambari Jethwani, has now been remanded to CID custody. The CID officials submitted a petition to the court requesting custody of PSR Anjaneyulu, who is currently under judicial remand. The court responded positively to the petition and, on Friday, granted CID three-day custody of Anjaneyulu from April 27 to April 29.

CID officers arrested PSR Anjaneyulu on Tuesday and presented him before the Vijayawada court on Wednesday morning. In connection with the actress harassment case, the court had initially remanded Anjaneyulu for 14 days. The CID’s legal counsel argued in court that Anjaneyulu had attempted to manipulate evidence related to the Mumbai actress harassment case. It was stated in court that the entire plan behind the harassment incident was allegedly orchestrated by PSR Anjaneyulu, according to a statement given by Vishal Gunny.

Furthermore, it was informed that, along with Vishal Gunny, then Vijayawada Commissioner of Police Kanthi Rana was summoned to the Chief Minister’s Office by Anjaneyulu. It was also alleged that a false case was registered against the Mumbai actress, leading to her being imprisoned for 42 days. The court was informed that the case had been registered at Nagarampalem Police Station in Guntur district.
