A murder case accused escaped police custody in Nashik in a dramatic manner reminiscent of a film scene, triggering widespread attention. However, the police acted swiftly and managed to apprehend him again within 12 hours.

According to details, Krish Shinde, the accused in a murder case registered under the jurisdiction of Bhadrakali Police Station, was presented before the court on April 29. After the hearing, the court granted four days of police custody. Moments after the remand orders were issued, Krish Shinde forcefully pushed aside a police constable who had detained him and ran out of the court premises at high speed.

He immediately climbed onto a motorcycle that had been stationed outside and escaped from the spot within seconds. Alerted by this unexpected development, police officers began to chase him immediately. While some officers pursued him on foot and others on motorcycles, their efforts proved unsuccessful. These dramatic scenes were captured by CCTV cameras in the area. The footage also showed a police officer falling while trying to catch the accused.

Following the viral circulation of the video on social media, there was a public outcry and criticism over the police’s security lapse. However, within a span of 12 hours, the police successfully rearrested the escaped accused Krish Shinde. Authorities also stated that they are in the process of identifying the person who rode the bike and assisted in the escape. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
