New Chief Justice of Telangana High Court takes oath

Hyderabad, June 22: Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan administered the oath of office to Shri Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan, Judge of Telangana High Court as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court in a solemn function held at 10.30 AM in Durbar Hall, at Raj Bhavan on Saturday.

The programme commenced with the Telangana Chief Secretary Sri S.K. Joshi initiating the programme, Registrar General of Telangana High Court Sri A. Venkateswar Reddy reading out the warrant of the President of India, appointing Shri Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court. Governor Sri Narasimhan, Telangana Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao congratulated Shri Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan by the presentation of bouquets.

The programme was attended by Lady Governor Smt. Vimala Narasimhan, Sri Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly, Home Minister Sri Md. Mahmood Ali, Medical & Health Minister Sri Eatala Rajender, Excise Minister Sri V. Srinivas Goud, Transport, Roads & Buildings Minister Sri Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Minister for Endowments Sri Indrakaran Reddy, DGP Sri Mahender Reddy, Judges of High Courts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, several other officials and non-officials.
