CM KCR recalls services of Suravaram Pratap Reddy

• Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has recalled the services rendered by Telangana Torchbearer Late Suravaram Pratap Reddy on his 125 Birth Anniversary

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has recalled the services rendered by Telangana Torchbearer Late Suravaram Pratap Reddy on his 125 Birth Anniversary. The CM said Pratap Reddy as Newspaper Editor, writer, Researcher had spread the Telangana language and literature all over and he was a true politico-social-Literary torchbearer.

The CM praised Pratap Reddy for presenting the Epics, History, social awareness and literary creativity in a new angle and show casing the greatness of Telangana all over the world with proper and tangible evidence. The CM said the people’s awareness that brought out by Pratap Reddy through Golkonda Patrika is inspirational. He said due credit should be given to Pratap Reddy for bringing out the values behind the traditions and festivals and gave them scientific credence.

The CM said Pratap Reddy should also be praised for unveiling several aspects hitherto unknown from the Ramayana and for recording the Telugu People’s Social History with proofs and evidence.

The CM said Pratap Reddy took the challenge that there were no scholars and lyric poets in Telangana and brought a special Number titled Golkonda Kavulu and made the Telangana flag fly high in the literary world. The CM described Pratap Reddy as the true Telanganite and the one who ignited the Telangana spirit.
