Minister Harish Rao holds a meeting on cultivation of Oil Palm
Hyderabad: As per the directions of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao, T.Harish Rao, Minister for Finance held a meeting along with A.Indrakaran Reddy, Minister for Forests and Environment, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Minister for Agriculture, Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt., on Cultivation of Oil Palm in the State.
T.Harish Rao, Minister for Finance said that the Oil Palm Cultivation will be taken up in a big way in the State for the next coming years. He said that Oil Palm cultivation will be taken up in large extent during the Year 2022. He said that farmers will be largely benefitted besides it is also environment friendly crop. He suggested various Department officials to plan to raise Oil Palm nurseries, but major constraint in increasing the area under Oil Palm is availability of seedlings.
Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLC and Chairman, Rythu Samanvaya Samithi, Raghunandan Rao, IAS., Secretary, Agriculture, Surender, MD, TS Oilfed, Venkat Rami Reddy, Director, Horticulture, Y.Krishna Rao, CGM, NABARD, Santhanam, DGM, NABARD, Muralidhar, MD, TSCOB and other officials were present.
