Lungi, Nighty Ban: Greater Noida Society Issues Bizarre Dress Code For Residents

In a rather unusual development, the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of a society in Greater Noida has issued a notice urging residents to maintain decorum in their attire when in common spaces and parks. The directive, dispatched by the Himsagar Apartment Association on June 10, specifically discouraged residents from venturing out in 'lungis and nighties.' Upon its release, the directive swiftly gained attention and was widely circulated on social media platforms. This controversial rule mandating dress code norms within the society's premises has sparked a widespread debate about the balance between communal decorum and individual freedom.
