Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu presided over the district collectors' conference today. The meeting was attended by several state ministers, district collectors, and other officials. In his address, Chandrababu Naidu commenced by extending warm greetings to the collectors, secretaries, and media representatives present.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of such meetings, stating that they serve as a platform to communicate the government’s vision and assess the progress of its initiatives.

"Governance in a state without major challenges is relatively straightforward. However, rebuilding a state after devastation poses immense difficulties and demands tireless effort," said Chandrababu Naidu. "This is the second time we are meeting with collectors to review our progress in this regard."

Referring to Pawan Kalyan’s observations, he added, "Before the elections, we all encountered unique challenges. In a democracy, any deviations or excesses are corrected by the people’s mandate, reflecting the greatness of the Indian Constitution. It ensures equal treatment for all citizens, granting one vote per person, irrespective of their status. This principle protects and sustains our nation."

Chandrababu Naidu also reflected on global examples, noting, "In countries where democratic corrections fail, dictators emerge, often leading to revolutions. Recent examples include Syria and Bangladesh, where public unrest escalated into crises. In India, however, frequent elections reinforce democracy, which serves as our Shri Rama Raksha."

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan highlighted the government’s efforts since coming to power six months ago. "We have consistently worked to resolve pressing issues. The recent visit of IT Minister Lokesh to the United States is one such effort, culminating in Google’s decision to invest in Visakhapatnam."

Discussing his government’s technological vision, Chandrababu Naidu stated, "I once spoke about IT, then artificial intelligence, and now deep technology. The agreement with Google is a step in this direction. Establishing a major tech center in Visakhapatnam, supported by a data center offering AI, machine learning, and deep technology services, will connect the region to the global economy through undersea cables. This will transform Visakhapatnam into a global service hub."

The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for a shift from hard work to smart work. "We must build Andhra Pradesh as a knowledge society. While a knowledge economy focuses on economic gains, a knowledge society emphasizes holistic development. Our goal is to create a system where people prioritize smart work over mere hard work," he concluded.
