Vijay Sethupathi Clarifies Rumors About Acting in Ram Charan's Upcoming Film

Recent social media speculation suggested that Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi would play a key role in #RC16 (working title), Ram Charan's upcoming film. Addressing these rumors, Vijay Sethupathi provided clarity during a recent press meet.

When asked by the media about his involvement in the film, Sethupathi firmly denied being part of the project, citing a lack of availability due to his tight schedule. This statement comes amid reports that Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana, who previously worked with Sethupathi, had offered him a significant role in the upcoming film.

When questioned about taking up lead roles in Telugu cinema, Sethupathi revealed that he has been listening to several scripts. However, he admitted that while he liked some stories, the lead characters in those films did not appeal to him. He expressed optimism that a suitable Telugu project might materialize soon.

Reflecting on the love and appreciation he received from Telugu audiences after playing a memorable role as the heroine’s father in Uppena, Sethupathi fondly recalled his past experiences. He emphasized that language is never a barrier for him when it comes to acting and connecting with audiences.
