Youth Employment as the Primary Goal: Key Agreements Signed in Minister Lokesh’s Presence

The Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP) has signed significant agreements with three major organizations to promote youth employment in the state. The agreements were formalized under the leadership of SEEDAP Chairman Gunupati Deepak Reddy in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics Nara Lokesh at Undavalli. Collaborating organizations include 2Coms Group, Food Processing Society, and Centurion.

The primary objective of these agreements is to boost enterprise development, self-employment, and income generation, particularly for economically disadvantaged families.

Speaking on the occasion, Nara Lokesh emphasized the government’s commitment to creating 2 million jobs for youth over the next five years. He highlighted SEEDAP's efforts in conducting large-scale skill development training programs targeting rural youth. He also praised SEEDAP's initiative to provide job-oriented training for overseas employment opportunities.

SEEDAP Chairman Gunupati Deepak Reddy stated that the organization is conducting extensive skill development training across various sectors to generate employment. He added that SEEDAP, in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development, is implementing the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), focusing on employment-oriented skill development, visa support, and placement services.
Overseas Jobs Through 2Coms

SEEDAP has partnered with 2Coms Group to create international employment opportunities, particularly in Germany and other countries with high demand for skilled professionals. 2Coms Group CEO Prashant Pasha stated that the partnership would provide jobs for both skilled and unskilled candidates, particularly in healthcare and other sectors.

In the first phase, 2,000 candidates will be placed in overseas jobs within two years. SEEDAP will handle skill development training, language preparation, and visa processing, while 2Coms will provide placement support and other necessary assistance.

Rural Youth Employment with Centurion

SEEDAP also signed an agreement with AP Food Processing Society to train 679 District Resource Persons (DRPs) to promote the establishment of 30,000 food processing units in Andhra Pradesh by 2029. The organization will identify, select, and train eligible unemployed youth for these roles.

Additionally, SEEDAP and Centurion University of Technology and Management in Nellimarla have agreed to provide industry-relevant training to school and college dropouts aged 18-35 from rural areas.

The training will focus on enterprise clusters in sectors such as garment manufacturing, auto components, dragon fruit cultivation, smart agriculture, and drone technology.
