Pawan Kalyan, first covert in Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party: Vellampalli

Vijayawada, August 23: Former minister and YSRCP MLA Vellampalli Srinivas on Tuesday alleged that Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan was first covert in megastar Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party (PRP). Talking to reporters here, he said Pawan Kalyan was the first to quit PRP after it got only 18 MLA seats in Assembly elections.

“18 MLAs including me stayed with Chiranjeevi till the PRP merger with the Congress,” he recalled and made Pawan Kalyan responsible for PRP-Congress merger. He stated that the Jana Sena chief is zero without Chiranjeevi. “Even, he can’t win as a corporator on his own,” he flayed.

Vellampalli further said that Pawan Kalyan is trying to create rift between Chiranjeevi and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Actor-turned-politician has no intention to become CM and uplift Kapu community,” he slammed and criticised him for saying in a 2014 public meeting that Chandrababu should continue as CM of AP for next 20 years.
