Liger, biggest flop in Puri Jagannadh’s career: Tammareddy Bharadwaja

Hyderabad, September 5: In an exclusive interview, senior Tollywood director and producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja said Liger is biggest flop in director Puri Jagannadh’s career. “Jagannadh might have assumed moviegoers will watch his film just because he directed it,” he analysed and mentioned that movies will fail at box office when the director has arrogance and ego.

Tammareddy stated that majority theatres in Telugu states stopped screening Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday after first five days of its release. Reasons for the flop, according to him, was that they have created so much hype which couldn’t meet expectations of audience.

“I have warned Vijay Deverakonda to be careful while speaking in front of the public during a function of Arjun Reddy film,” he said and added that any director or actor can tell to filmgoers that they have worked hard to make the movie and request them to watch in theatres.
