Allu Arjun Crowned 'Planet Star' by RGV, Ahead of Pushpa 2 Release

Controversial statements are nothing new for filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. On the occasion of the upcoming release of Pushpa: The Rule (Pushpa 2), Varma made another bold claim. Using the platform X (formerly Twitter), he declared that Allu Arjun is far more "mega" than the "mega family," calling him not just a global star but a "planet star." He listed three reasons to support his claim.

First Reason:
Varma stated that Pushpa: The Rule is poised to have the largest release in the history of Indian cinema. He predicted that the film’s opening-day box office collections would break the “stratosphere” of global box office records.

Second Reason:
According to Varma, the movie will be released in every corner of the planet, making Allu Arjun the world’s only "planet star."

Third Reason:
Varma revealed that Allu Arjun was paid ₹287.36 crore for Pushpa: The Rule. He emphasized that this figure is far beyond any actor from the "mega family" or even any other star in Indian cinema history. Varma lauded Allu Arjun as the ultimate "tower star."
