I Failed in 10th Grade: Minister Narayana

Dr. Narayana, the founder of Narayana Educational Institutions and a prominent minister from Andhra Pradesh, made a surprising revelation during a Parent-Teacher Meeting held today at BVS Girls High School in Nellore. Speaking at the event, he shared, 'In 1972, I failed my 10th-grade examinations. That failure became a turning point in my life, pushing me to work harder and strive for academic excellence.' He later earned a gold medal in Mathematics during his postgraduate studies.

Dr. Narayana urged parents not to scold their children for poor academic performance but instead encourage them to study better. He emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive environment for students to thrive. Highlighting the scale of education in the state, he mentioned that 36 lakh students are currently studying in 45,094 schools across Andhra Pradesh.

He also stressed the significance of holding regular interactions between parents and teachers to ensure students' holistic development.
