Buddha Venkanna Files Police Complaint Against Vijayasai Reddy
TDP leader Buddha Venkanna has lodged a complaint with Vijayawada police against YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy. He met Vijayawada Police Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu today and later addressed the media. Venkanna demanded the registration of a case against Vijayasai Reddy for making false statements about Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He warned that they would approach the court if the police failed to take action.
Venkanna criticized Vijayasai Reddy for allegedly playing mind games to mislead the public about the Kakinada port issue. He claimed that Vijayasai’s remarks were triggered by fear that Jagan could face jail time due to his involvement in alleged scams. He described Vijayasai’s comments as extreme and urged him to control his speech.
He further alleged that YSRCP leaders committed numerous offenses over the past five years, prompting many victims to file complaints with police and district collectors. Referring to KV Rao’s complaint, he condemned attempts to link such cases to caste-based conspiracies, questioning why caste was being used as a shield for political wrongdoings.
