Telangana Assembly Sessions Adjourned Until December 16

The Telangana Assembly sessions, which began today, have been adjourned until December 16. Shortly after the session commenced, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made an official announcement regarding the installation of the Telangana Talli statue at the Secretariat this evening. He extended an open invitation to all members to attend the unveiling ceremony.

During the session, various ministers and members expressed their views on the proposed installation. Prior to the session, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders staged a protest in front of the Assembly, prompting police intervention and their subsequent detention.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy provided further clarification on the design and installation of the Telangana Talli statue. A heated discussion ensued between the ruling and opposition parties regarding proposed modifications to the statue's design. Several members offered suggestions and recommendations on the matter.

The Assembly later passed a resolution to officially celebrate Telangana Talli Formation Day on December 9 every year. Following this, Speaker announced the adjournment of the session until December 16.
