CM Revanth Reddy Orders Probe into Farmer's Handcuffing During Hospital Transfer

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed strong displeasure over the handcuffing of farmer Heerya Naik while transferring him from jail to the hospital. Heerya Naik, a remand prisoner at the Sangareddy Jail, complained of chest pain during a routine medical examination in prison.

Following the incident, he was initially taken to the Sangareddy Government Hospital. As his condition worsened, he was moved to Gandhi Hospital for advanced treatment. After suffering a heart attack, he was transferred to the NIMS emergency department in Panjagutta, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Revanth Reddy questioned the necessity of handcuffing the farmer during the hospital transfer. He expressed anger over the treatment and sought a detailed inquiry into the incident. The Chief Minister directed officials to investigate the matter thoroughly and submit a report. Additionally, he instructed medical teams to provide the best possible treatment to Heerya Naik at NIMS.
