'Kantara' should not be remade in Hindi, opines Rishab Shetty
Hyderabad: 'Kantara' has become a huge success and collected over Rs 200 crore worldwide. Kannada actor Rishab Shetty is participating in the movie success tours and as part of that, he gave interviews to the media and shared interesting points things about the movie.
He said, “I did not want 'Kantara' to be remade in Hindi. I stopped eating non-veg 20 to 30 days before the shooting of the film as I had to act in the scenes of ‘Daiva Kola'. Acting in Kantara is a difficult task. Along with acting, it became a little difficult as I had to keep my weight under control to appear in action scenes. While shooting these scenes, I drank only coconut water to fill my stomach. To play such roles one must have faith in culture and tradition.”
“There are many actors in Bollywood whom I admire. But, such films should not be remade. I didn't expect the film would be a massive success.” Rishabh Shetty stated that 'Kantara' was a huge success because of teamwork. Many celebrities praised 'Kantara', including Vivek Agnihotri, Ram Gopal Varma, Superstar Rajinikanth and others.
