Businesswoman-philanthropist Sudha Reddy joins hands with UNICEF to empower adolescents in India

 UNICEF welcomes Ms. Sudha Reddy as a new member of its International Council, a global community of philanthropic individuals who invests to accelerate results for children.


 Hyderabad: January 11, 2024: Ms. Sudha Reddy, founder and Chairperson of the Sudha Reddy Foundation, signs a strategic partnership with UNICEF India to promote adolescent empowerment.

 
She was officially onboarded as a partner over a private interaction and breakfast meeting with UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador, David Beckham. Following the meeting, she attended a high-level round table discussion, attended by several distinguished guests, chaired by David Beckham.

As a new member of UNICEF’s International Council, over the next two-year partnership, Ms. Reddy’s contribution will support empowerment of vulnerable adolescents aged 14-19 focusing on issues of child protection and employability, in UNICEF's ongoing work with the government, communities, and civil society. 


Sudha Reddy’s impactful contributions with global foundations such as the Global Gift Foundation, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Fight Hunger Foundation and Action Against Hunger, has earned her the prestigious Champions of Change Award from the Telangana Government in 2022.
