KIMS Saveera doctors gave new life to a baby born with complex problems

Anantapur, May 26: Doctors at KIMS Saveera Hospitals, Anantapur saves the life of a newborn baby who was born with several complex problems since he was a fetus, with severe jaundice symptoms, liver, kidney, and heart failure, and was born with a slippery slope to death. The baby was born through the Lower Segment Cesarean Section (LSCS). Parents of a newborn from the Guntakal town took their baby to Kims Saveera Hospital with various problems.

In addition, the baby has 3.9 grams of haemoglobin, and symptoms of progressive heart failure with impaired liver and kidney functions, and kidney effects. There is a risk of severe anaemia also.. as all the organs of the baby's body deteriorate and their function slows down.

After examining doctors Start the treatment. Dr Raghavaiah who leads the medical team explained how the newborn was treated. “The baby was immediately rushed to the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for treatment. Attempts have been made in several ways to prevent heart failure in the first place. Phototherapy was then initiated and an intravenous immunoglobulin injection was given. In the same way, the baby needed blood transfusions through several donors. However, in the treatment of children with such conditions, the most important method of transfusion is a double exchange transfusion. The baby's health improved with adequate treatment for serum bilirubin, kidney, liver and heart problems. The baby was discharged and sent home'' he explained

“However, the main cause of this problem in the newborn is Rh-Positive when the mother is Rh-negative and Rh isoimmunization occurs, which causes the RBCs to break down during pregnancy.
