Dr MCR HRD Institute is All Set to Train a Whopping 6864 Employees of WD; CW

Dept.during the Next Eight Months

Smt. Satyavathi Rathod, Hon’ble Minister for Women; Child Welfare, Tribal Welfare inaugurated a mega “Training for All Program”, sponsored by DoPT, Govt. of India, for the employees of Women Development; Child Welfare (WD; CW) Dept. Govt. of Telangana.

As a part of this innovative initiative, Dr. MCR HRD Institute will train a whopping 6864 employees of WD; CW Dept.,the breakup being 3282 Administrative Employees and 3582 Anganwadi Teachers, during the next eight months.
Smt. Satyavathi Rathod, who was the Chief Guest, said that the WD; CW Dept. caters to the needs of a staggering about 70% of population of the State. “The Training for All Program will be greatly instrumental in empowering the employees of WD ;CW Dept. in order to successfully deliver its multifarious schemes to women and children, especially their
weaker counterparts, and thereby achieving its cherished goals”, she stated. Continuing her address, Smt Satyavathi Rathod congratulated Dr MCR HRD Institute for successfully conducting the “Training for All Program” for the employees of Tribal Welfare Department in the recent past and now launching the same program for the employees of WD; CW Dept. “It is a double delight for me to have been associated with both the Departments in my capacity as the Minister”, Smt Satyavathi Rathod added, with a sense of pride. Sri Harpreet Singh, IAS, DG, Dr MCR HRD Institute;Spl. Chief Secretary to Govt. of Telangana said that the “Training for All Program” is holistic in nature and covers the entire spectrum and cycle of training. He said that the objective of the program is to further enrich the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes profile of the employees and to bring about a qualitative change in the working of the WD; CW Dept. “This will go a long way in improving the ranking of Telangana in State Development Index”, Sri Harpreet Sing added. Smt. D. Divya, IAS, Special Secretary to Govt. & Commissioner, WD; CW Dept said that the “Training for All Program” will go a long way in equipping the employees with a fusion of both technical and people-related skills and thereby enabling the Department to emerge as the hub of good governance and innovation.

On this occasion, Smt. Satyavathi Rathod released the Training Needs Analysis Report for the WD; CW Department.Professor (Dr) A S Ramachandra, Senior Faculty proposed a vote of thanks. Sri Srinivas Madhav, Senior Faculty conducted proceedings of the session.
