TSWREIS Launches Swacch Gurukul Drive
Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) launched a one week-long ‘Swacch Gurukul Drive’ from 05.09.2022 to 11.09.2022 in all its 268 social welfare residential educational institutions. Sri Ronald
Rose, IAS, Secretary, TSWREIS said’ the main purpose of the drive is to keep the social welfare residential institutions clean and neat with the involvement of students, teachers, parents, public representatives and district officials and sensitize the students on the need to keep surroundings clean. Third Party teams nominated by the respective district collectors will inspect the social welfare residential institutions and adjudge the best Swacch social welfare institutions and state level awards will be given to the best performing institutions
Week Long Swacch Gurukul Drive
Day 1 - Segregation of waste for recycling/disposal purpose
Day – 2 Cleaning classrooms, school campus and dormitories
Day – 3 Checking and cleaning Wash Rooms ,Toilets, Water Tanks, Drainage Blocks, Outlets,Water Logging Areas. Competitions on the Importance of Sanitation Drive
Day – 4 Cleanliness Drive in Kitchen And Dining Area
Day – 5 Plantation Drive
Day – 6 Cultural events depicting the importance of Cleanliness
Day – 7 Closing ceremony on a grand scale
