Construction in Amaravati to Begin in January: Land Allocation Details Inside

Municipal and Urban Development Minister Narayana announced that construction work in the capital city of Amaravati would commence in January. By the end of December, tenders for 360 km of trunk roads and other towers will be finalized.

A sub-committee discussing land allotments in the capital met at the Secretariat on Friday. The meeting was attended by Ministers Narayana, Kollu Ravindra, and officials, while Ministers Payyavula Keshav, TG Bharat, Kandula Durgesh, and Sandhya Rani participated via Zoom. Minister Narayana shared the details with the media after the meeting.

Land Allotments Approved:
20 acres allocated for an ESI hospital and medical college.
Extensions were granted to several institutions whose land allocations from the previous TDP government had expired.
5 acres for the Central Institute of Tools and Design.
0.8 acres for Indira Gandhi National Open University.
15 acres for Basavatarakam Cancer Institute.
5 acres for L&T Skill Training Institute.
10 acres for Brahma Kumari Education Society.
25 acres previously allocated to TTD was reaffirmed.

The minister disclosed that 131 individuals and organizations had been allocated land earlier. New allocations have been made, with previous beneficiaries offered land at the same prices as before. He also mentioned plans to finalize a pricing policy soon and instructed officials to complete the allocation process by the end of next month.
