Pawan Kalyan Warns YSRCP for Attack on MPDO Jawahar Babu

Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan visited Jawahar Babu, the MPDO (Mandal Parishad Development Officer) of Galiveedu, who is undergoing treatment at Kadapa RIMS Hospital after being severely injured in an attack allegedly carried out by YSRCP leaders. During his visit, Pawan Kalyan inquired about the incident and consoled the victim and his family, urging them to stay strong, saying, "I am here for you. Be courageous."

Speaking to the media on this occasion, Pawan Kalyan strongly criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing it of repeated assaults on government officials. He emphasized the MPDO's critical role as a local administrative officer akin to a district collector and condemned the violent attack on Jawahar Babu. Pawan Kalyan alleged that Sudarshan Reddy, who is accused in this incident, has a history of attacking officials.

He further lambasted the YSRCP for its continued arrogance despite securing only 11 seats in recent elections. "Even with just 11 seats, their arrogance hasn’t diminished. This attack on the MPDO is an attack on the government itself," Pawan Kalyan asserted. He noted that the situation was brought under control only after the intervention of a Circle Inspector (CI). Warning against such violent acts driven by arrogance, he stated, "If they act with arrogance, we will strip them bare and make them sit down. The alliance government knows how to control you and will show you how."

Pawan Kalyan also alleged that Jawahar Babu was threatened with death, calling for an electoral environment where leaders like these fear participating in polls. He criticized the trend of caste-based abuses against local officials, describing it as a dangerous practice. Pawan Kalyan demanded stringent action against the perpetrators and stated that clear instructions have been issued to authorities regarding the matter.

Commenting on the suicide of a farmer's family in the Pulivendula region, Pawan Kalyan expressed his grief and revealed that an investigation is underway into the tragic incident.
