Chandrababu should vacate the house on moral grounds: YSRCP

Vijayawada, July 7: YSR Congress has demanded that Chandrababu Naidu should own moral responsibility and vacate the house in which he is staying instead of going for irrational arguments or else we have to complain to the competent authority to take immediate action.

Speaking to media here on Sunday, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said, as the land on which the house was built by Lingamaneni Ramesh, has clearly flouted rules of various Departments, the TDP President should immediately vacate the house and stop his doublespeak on the status of the house.

It was once said that the house was given to Government by the contractor while the TDP leader has claimed that it was taken by the government while he was in power and now has changed his stance. It is high time that chalk and cheese should be separated in the coming days as we will complain to the competent authority to take firm action against the realtor and developer who has misused power and flouted various the rules.

Still, there is no clarity from either the developer or the person who is staying in the house about the status of the house and the air will be cleared by the CRDAauthorities soon. TDP has been using its friendly media to distort fact and deviate the issue by floating false notions, he said.

Chandrababu had earlier, said on the floor of the Assembly on March 6, 2016, that the house belongs to Government and he is bound to vacate the house on that ground. After the notice was posted to the house, things bounced in a different direction and the scene has been played in the different tune which is not the original version of both the parties.

‘I will ask the authorities to verify the facts fully on the ownership and transfer of the property which is part of the land pooling and take action accordingly', he said.
