Renault india expands its network presence in Telangana

Hyderabad, August 10, 2020:  Renault India expanded its network presence in Telangana with the inauguration of 2 new state-of-the-art Showroom facilities, Renault Kompally, Renault Malakpet (PPS Motors Pvt. Ltd.) and 1 workshop Renault Madhapur (PPS Motors Pvt. Ltd.) The new showroom facilities and the new workshop will offer Renault India’s best-in-class products and services to the discerning customers in Hyderabad and adjoining areas.

This is part of Renault’s aggressive network expansion plan across the country which saw an addition of 17 new sales and service touchpoints, which include 14 showrooms and 3 workshops across India. With the inauguration of the new dealerships, Renault’s network has expanded to more than 390 sales and 470+ service touchpoints, which include 200+ Workshop On Wheels locations across the country.

“India is an important market for Renault’s global growth plans, and we have a thorough business strategy for this dynamic automotive market. This is reflected by our robust product enhancement strategy, our rapid network expansion and fervent efforts to ensure customer delight. Although we are cautious given the current situation, it is encouraging to see that we are attracting new dealers in these times, as well as getting more investments and expansion requests by existing partners. This is enabling us to expand our presence to cater to more customers in metro cities as well as emerging tier II-IV cities across the country,” said Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India Operations.

In July 2020, Renault recorded sales of 6,422 units, which is a 75.5% growth over last year and there is an encouraging response to the recently launched TRIBER AMT and the new versions introduced in the KWID range. Renault will take its product strategy forward with the launch of the DUSTER with an all-new turbo petrol engine, which will make it the most powerful SUV in the segment. Together with this, a focussed business strategy led by an engaged network participating in the new initiatives, using digital platforms extensively to reach out to customers, and providing them the best of the services in these challenging times have contributed to Renault efficiently managing the current business environment.

The newly inaugurated dealership facilities have been designed according to the RENAULT STORE concept. RENAULT STORE is a new generation of dealerships which have been conceptualized to best address the evolving needs of customers by highlighting the value of the brand, products, services and accessories in a modern and more effective manner.

Speaking about the partnership with Renault India, Mr. Rajiv Mahesh Sanghvi, Managing Director, PPS Motors Private Limited, said, “PPS Motors began its association with Renault India by starting 1 dealership in Hyderabad. Today, we have grown our relationship and have expanded to 8 Renault showrooms and 5 Renault workshops which are spread across Southern and Western India. The showroom of Renault Kompally is located at Survey Number 129 & 141, Situated at D. No 3-65/03, National Highway, Kompally in Hyderabad, over an area of 1155 sq.ft. to accommodate 3 display cars.

The other dealership facility Renault Malakpet is located at M No. 16-2-705/11 Situated at opp Sri Krupa Market (Mahaboob Manison), Malakpet, in Hyderabad, over an area of 2800 sq.ft. to accommodate 5 display cars.

Renault Madhapur’s workshop facility is located at Plot Number 17 to 21, Survey No 10, Parvat Nagar, Near Ayappa Housing Society, Madhapur in Hyderabad, with a covered area of 21000 sq.ft. It has 12 Mechanical Bays and 10 Bodyshop Bays along with a wide range of accessories and modern equipment to provide top-of-the-line services to customers.
